Trouble Codes
hey guys i have a 1993 firebird formula,when i took a long trip the engine light came on,i hooked up the scanner and read a code 51. my repair manual says that it is a faulty ecm,do i need to replace it or how do i fix it,any help would be appreciated on how to take care of a code 51,after the trip the light hasn't come on since...

dont worry about it then especially if the car is running fine. Computers sometimes give off codes even when theres nothing wrong especially during the winter. If the code does come back consider checking the connection into the computer u might have developed some corrosion or have a lot of dust build up or something...clean and reinstall..
