"Door ajar" light, and buzzer

OK, so my 96 has the Door ajar light, and buzzer go on and off once in a wile. Mostly on bumby roads. It started happaning mostly in the real cold wether, but now does it alot eaven when warm. All doors are fully closed. Anything more common?? Where should I look first?

Anyone have issues with sliding door contacts?? Im thinking maybe they are dirty, and not making a good connecion. Anyone have that issue before??

A search should find you quite a bit. Some folks have had problems with the curious-design rear lift gate switches. Something about roller-ball actuators getting gummed up. ???

my 2000 started having this problem as well. It seems to be coming from the driver side sliding door. It looks like the plunger type switch at the rear of the door is either going bad or dirty. I think in order to remove it I would have to take off the inside panels.
