Swift has dim headlight - Help!

HI, I'm new to the forum and thank you in advance for any help.
I recently impacted a deer with my dear 96 swift. It broke the driver headlight and punctured the battery. I repaiered eveything but now the left headlight is dim and I've replaced the bulb and fixture. I wonder if te battery acid damaged a ground wire?

Did you do it at home? I shall suggest to show it to some expert.
