'94 LED turn signal problem

I built the clear tail lights and bought some red led lights, but when i put the LED's in the turn signals do not blink, they just stay solid, if i puld old bulbs back in they blink again, ... when i turn on emergency lights they blink LED or not, but turn signals not blinking... any ideas?

Those LED bulbs that you buy in the store are better used in just brake lights without the turnsignal. those bulbs normally need an additional resistor in order for the flashing function to work properly. if you car was a little newer the light would blink but at a rapid pace instead of the standard blinking pace. Hope this helps a little.
