hmm, you'll never know, but it is very very very hard indeed. I know of a gentleman (also ex-employee of Brunei) who tried to purchase an F1, but they didn't want to sell.

Re: Mclaren for Sale???

I have previously heard horror stories of their no longer wanted toys being loaded onto cargo shops taken out to sea and unceremoniously dumped overboard, how true this is i have no idea but the thought of that fate befalling the LM's would be really criminal.

Yea. Some of the Ferrari 456's needed parts so they took the parts of the other Ferraris then dumped them in the ocean since they didn't have the parts on them anymore

Re: Mclaren for Sale???

I've heard about 1200 Bentley/Royce wheels being dumped in the ocean after the cars received new generation wheels.

How true this is? I have no idea...

It would make more sense to dump the cars in a field somewhere and use the parts when needed.. Or maybe the most important bits were taken off and then they were dumped in the ocean...
