05 Yukon XL

Have an 05 Yukon XL, 94k miles, great truck.
Service airbags light came on, vehicle has never been in
any kind of accident. Thinking of trading in for new 08/09
hybrid in about 3 months, should I worry or get it fixed.
Can this be reset by disconnecting battery for 30 seconds?
Thanks for the replies.

If the Service Airbags light is on, it means that it detected and issue with one or more airbags. Disconnecting the battery will not fix this. Remember, you now have no airbags when driving with the Service Airbag light on.

It needs to be scanned with a scanner that is capable of reading airbag codes.
