6.0 engine. How good is it?

I am back in the gas truck market after the last 10 years with diesels. Just can't seem to justify paying .85 cents more per gallon any more.

Any way what is the story of the 6.0? I didn't even know that Chevy reintroduced the 5.3 (327). Anyway I am looking at some trucks that have the 6.0. How good of an engine is it? Any years that I should stay away from? I will be pulling a small 22 foot 5th wheel up some of the smaller passes in Colorado. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

If your going to pull on any regular type basis. Def. get the 6.0L preferably in the 2500HD. Stonger tranny and stronger rear axle. 6.0L is a great motor. Although you will pay at the pump for either the 6 or the 5.3. Mileage is just not there compared to the diesel
