7.4 Fuel Mileage, what are you getting?

Found a 99 silverado, crew cab, automatic, 4x4, long box for sale. Everyone is concerned about mpg, including me. What kind of mpg can you RESONABLE expect? Thanks

Re: 7.4 Fuel Mileage, what are you getting?

If you want good mileage forget it.
From 10-15 MPG would be normal for them.

A lot depends on engine tune up and gear ratio set up.
To find out take it for a test drive.

The 4W driive pickups and bigger vans and bigger sub's are not selling very good on car lots and can be bought cheap but you are going to pay at the gas pump.

Good Luck
