Brand loyal or not
When buying a new car are you brand loyal or do you test drive and look at a bunch of different brands?

Re: Brand loyal or not
I usually stick to one brand but would consider a similar make from a different line. For instance back in 2006 I was looking at a Chevrolet Uplander but atthe same time I also looked at the Pontiac Montana and Buick Terrazza, both similar in design and equipped as the Uplander.

Re: Brand loyal or not
I used to be loyal to Chevrolet and Pontiac but things are changing now and I'm only loyal to myself and my finances. I always try to buy American but the brand doesn't matter. Automakers are all using the same group of suppliers anyway and they sell parts to each other. GM transmissions go into some Toyota cars and Honda has sold engines to the Big 3. Chinese parts go into some Ford, Chrysler and GM cars. Some Japanese and German brands are made in the USA while some American brands are made in Mexico and exported to the USA. Loyalty is a shell game and it means less and less as time goes on.
