ecm location

hi all im back i have a 87 chevy s-10 blazer 4x4. does anyone know where specificly the ecm is located and if they can be checked. i got the timing straight but im getting no fuel out of the injecters. also my check engine soon light is coming on sometime when i turn the key on but sometimes it is not. i mean when i just turn the key on not while i am trying to start it. it is a 2.8 liter. she wants to start now but wont get fuel through the injecters but fuel is getting to the throttle body. u guys r great plz help me. thx chaz

Under right side of dash board.
Pull glove box and see if you can see it.
Check for proper fuel pressure.
The injector and ECM has fuses.
Check all fuses.
Check for good hot blue spark and injector pulse.
Also pull codes and post back code no.
Will it start on a shot of carb cleaner?

No starting fluid please.
Just carb cleaner.
Check fuel pressure and for good spark.
And check codes.
Post back what you have.

thx mt how do i do the paper clip trick to get the codes? why no starting fluid? what two spots on the ecm plug? thx chaz

Jumper pins A and B on diagnostic connector.

Starter fluid has been known to blow off the valve covers and oil pan off and put the oil fill cap threw the hood.
And will give you a shave and a hair cut with eye brow trim if your head is close when it blows.
Use at your own risk.

Have you checked all uses?
Some of them have a fuel pump fuse by relay on firewall to.
