99 mustang low and rough idle
My 99 mustang sat for afew months this winter, then we were driving it and it started idling very rough. At stops, you have to keep on the gas for the engine to not stall out. The service engine light was flashing. It almost sounds like a vacuum leak, but i would like to address all possibilities. Thanks for any help guys

Re: 99 mustang low and rough idle
Check for vacuum leaks with a can of carb cleaner. The motor will rev up if you spray over a leak.
If you dont find a vacuum leak then take it to a local Auto-Zone and they will scan for trouble codes for free.
