Need a better ride on my 22" tires
I put 22 inch tires on my 2003 Yukon and although it looks great, the ride leaves a lot to be desired. Now that I've hit 53,000 miles, I know it's time for new shocks. I'm looking for recommendations on which shocks I can use that will give me good handling, but not such a hard ride. I've been told Monroe by one shop and KYB by another. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Re: Need a better ride on my 22" tires
I am afraid you still won't be satisfied with the ride. 99.9 % of shocks are designed to meet the manufacturers specifications. You have modified these specs. for a more desirable look. What has taken place is you have lost the cushion that was engineered into the vehicle by eliminateing the flexing of the side walls. Yours are now too rigid to provide you with the comfort you desire. If you find softer shocks, you will probably start bottoming out on your snubbers every time you hit a bump or chuck hole.
