My favorite story.....E36 M3 vs Cobalt SS

It was late around midnight, I was sitting in my chair watching the speed channel. Sitting there I get the urge for a snack. I call to the wife who’s upstairs and asks if she would like a shake and some chili cheese fries. We hop into the little Cobalt and head to the Steak n Shake.

So after grabbing a couple of shakes and chilicheese fries we head back down our local hiway on our way home. The windows are down, the air is crisp and not a soul on the roads. After awhile I see an M3 and give it a slow pass and admire the BMW design, looks to be an E36, the driver didn't take notice so I continued. Up ahead in front is a little Sentra who liked driving in the fast lane, so I make a pass to his right. I guess he didn’t like that, I hear him accelerate, with a grin I just depress my gas pedal and pass him by. I see a twinkle in the rear view, the Bimmers head lights lift a little and gives me chase. Hmmm………… nobody ahead but the stop light I’ll slow a little and see if I can catch the red. Meanwhile the Sentra is attempting a flyby, but he doesn’t make it, caught by the red light, failed again.

So here we are, I'm in the center lane and the beemer takes the right, and a little Sentra to the left. The BMW revs his engine a little to get my attention. I don't rev, just give a nod and a smile. The just wife just ducks in her seat and shakes her head. Then out of nowhere I see this guy in a tight black T-shirt and a bald head walk into the intersection carrying a crate. He sets it down and stands on it. WTF??? When we see the yellow he points to our cars and raises his hands, the BMW revs up, I bring it to about 2000 and wait for the green.

I could swear I heard the light click green just as this dude dropped his hands and, screeeeechhhhh, me and the BMW side by side through first, the Sentra is just sitting there wondering what that guy was doing standing on top of the crate.

The BMW and I shift to second about the same time and I pull just a little, 40, 50, 60, the supercharger is screaming over the sound of the BMW. Then I hear him shifts to third, as soon as I heard that shift I knew I had him. My car kept pulling while the M3 had to coast for that brief moment he shifted, by then he sat at my rear bumper. I speed shift to third and bye bye M3. woohoooo.........

There was a gas station up ahead so I pulled in and I wait to see what the BMW driver will do. He rolls up next to me. Just then that weird dude with the crate steps out from between the gas pumps.

“Where the hell did you come from?” I asked

“ Been here the whole time” He sez

He looks over at the BMW driver and asks “So on that last race, do you think your BMW was outperformed by the Cobalt?”

The BMW driver looks over at him and simply gives his reply in sign language. He then looks to me and switches his sign to a thumbs up.

I reply in kind.

Then that crazy bald guy grabbed my shoulder and with a jolt I’m back in my chair at home and I see my wife…….. “You coming to bed?”

“Huh? Wha? ..Oh yeah” I reply

“You gotta stop watching these shows it makes you jumpy”

Just before I click off the TV I hear “LET EM ROLLLLLLLL”

Well sorry folks, thought I'd give it a try. Most stories are just the facts and I wanted to embelish a little. Waiting for the epic fail pic to arrive soon I guess.

Oh well, anyway for a cliff notes version I killed an E36 M3 from a dig by about a car, afterwards the guy gave me a thumbs up. Best race I ever had on the street.

Its perfectly acceptable, easy, and welcome to have a well done kill story with more than "We razord to onez millionz and I WON NEWBSSSSS". However, it is even easier and more welcome and far more acceptable to perform such a feat without the use of that rancid sack of dung beetle fodder known as Pinks. The very existence of that show is why the aliens never actually land, they just hover and observe us. They pick up that no tallent hack Christiansen and is ilk, and say "fuck this, these people are to damned stupid for us to land."

haha i dont know, i thought it was pretty entertaining. Idk what i would do if that actually happened to me.. might just veer to the right and hit the crate guy maybe for invading my reality.

But pinks does fail at being a show... pretty royally. And the epic fail picture wont show up here... there is a thread for those going on right now that has people's attention for the time being
