I need a wire harness
I need a tail light wire harness for an 88 Silverado. I've found them online before but I've looked a couple hours today and can't find one.

Re: I need a wire harness
I personally would try a local salvage yard. They usually dont charge much more than scrap price for wires.

Re: I need a wire harness
Dude, the correct answer would be that the problem has been replaced by a new tail light assembly that fixes low voltage to the bulbs.

Re: I need a wire harness
this is a VERY common issue on these trucks
its probably a ground issue anyways if they have new harnesses out there, then thats the way to go probably call the dealer and ask if they know anything if i had a nickel for every 88 up truck i have seen with messed up rear lights then well id have a ton of nickels see the same issues on the brand new SUV's now too whole new round of rear lights wiring issues i have noticed as of late good luck
