2002 Jeep Larado Steering Column

When the steering wheel is turned to the left its makes a grinding noise. The best way to explain the sound is like dragging a chair across a kitchen floor. Not all the time, but sometimes. This sound comes from right behind the steering wheel, before the fire wall, my guess would be to lube to parts there, just dont know where, and what lube, or maybe it could be a worse problem, please help

Re: 2002 Jeep Larado Steering Column

The noise is probably further down and being transmitted up the steering column.
Check the Chrysler TSB documents here.
