MFH 1:20 Williams Renault FW16 Imola 1994.

MFH 1:20 Williams Renault FW16 Imola 1994. The kit was actually finished a long time ago, but finally I found some time and energy to show the end result to you as promised. The work-in-progress is here:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=564834
As always I save the worst problems to the end of the project. As mentioned in the work-in-progress tread the front and rear wing is a nightmare. Much too heavy because it is made in white metal and not resin. Something MFH have realised was a problem and you will not see those problems in more resent kits, where resin parts are taking over. Anyhow it was fixed with a lot of glue etc. and at the end it all came together. Perhaps the best MFH kit I have built until now. Worth every penny.
I was lazy not using carbon everywhere. But I used it on the front wing, where it is very obvious.
I actually won the IPMS Danish championship with this car. Not bad considering the right side of my body including my right hand and fingers was paralyzed at the beginning of the project. Ok – let me be honest. Things got much better afterwards.
Anyhow here it is – Senna’s last car in he’s last race.

Yeah, fantastic work.
Looks really brilliant (as do your Lotus and Ferrari).

You show some impressive and detailed stuff...

Already looking forward to your next build !

Yet another one that's waiting in my "pile".....sigh!
Great job again...especially considering the handicap you had to deal with!
Your troubles with the nose and wing are exactly what i expected when i looked at the parts. I'll try and cast them in resin whenever i get to build it!

Gorgeous! If I could buy just one resin kit, this would be it.

I am glad I finally see it done, it is a beauty, considering all the facts it is more then perfect.

Super job

Really packed with details.

Does the helmet come with the kit BTW?
