Re: a/c cold on passenger and hot on driver

i have this same problem with the cold on pass, and warm on driver side

97 gtp with manual hvac

plus if you set the deforst on, you can hear the air but nothing comes out, but if you switch it to deforst/floor then you can feel some coming out the deforst and alot out the floor?

To start check the HVAC accessory vacuum line that runs from the supercharger, along the firewall and by the battery/main fuse box and make sure it is not leaking, damaged or disconnected for your vent control issue.

For uneven AC cooling between driver and passenger side check the refrigerant charge at the low side port and make sure it is in specs based on the ambient temperature.

In most cases yes. But in your case you may have to run a leak detector test to see why all the R134a has leaked out. The compressor seal is a common problem.

Re: a/c cold on passenger and hot on driver

I had the same problem. It ended up I needed a recharge. Same thing as you need. The problem occurs though when they have to check the whole system and find out you have leaks or need parts replaced. It can get expensive. 700.00 for me to ge mine up and cooling again.
