FYI, I added an FM Modulator in-line into my antenna feed in my Montana a couple of weeks ago. It works great.
I bought it online, ebay, for about 7 bucks. I did some reading, and I was all in a panic reading about the fact that that year Montana had "different" style antenna connectors, that I was accustomed to. It so turned out that they are the same-old type connectors that they have always been....so I don't know where this all started. (I was prepared thinking that I was going to have to spend $50 on connectors!) Anyways, I found that there is a connection in the right front of the bulkhead, where you can put the modulator IN-LINE right there, no removing your factory radio or anything. I powered it off of the switched output fuseblock, saves a lot of work. Damn, the FM modulator sounds 100% better than any of those FM transmitters, that I have experimented with for the last year. |

Re: FM Modulator 2000 Montana Addition
How about a link to the one you bought?
Or is it against the rules here?

Re: FM Modulator 2000 Montana Addition
No Problem.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/DIGITAL-STEREO-FM...QQcmdZViewItem It is a really good company. They sell a lot of goods, electronic on Ebay as well as private. You will see the difference in prices on their own website....outside ebay. Great quality sound as compared to the "FM Transmitter". |
