Re: Got a brand new 2.2 motor, need some answers!

Hey it runs good but there is one problem now, the engine will come on as soon as the fan kicks in, and if you shut the car off it will stay off, only when the fan comes on will it trip the engine light. OBD1 computer, motor is from 97, any ideas?

Re: Got a brand new 2.2 motor, need some answers!

The new motor is in and running right? well when he drives and when the fan kicks on to cool the engine down like any car normally does, it brings on the Check Engine Light......and if you turn the car off and back on the light goes away until the fan comes on again, then the light comes back on, whats causing this?
