Re: Nokian tires?

Any link to the tire and specs? Nokian is a Finnish based tire (tyre) company. In 2007 North America sales was around 7% of the company's total worldwide tire sales.

Re: Nokian tires?

Who did you purchase them through? None of the big tire companies like Discount Tire or Tire Rack sell them so I can't tell or make a comparison against other brand tires other than they are basically all-season touring radials.

What is the UTQG rating - treadwear, traction and temperature?

back to the OP's question...idk if i like the looks of these tires. i was a whole salesman for goodyear tire, and i dont recall ever hearing about these tires. if you ask me...by the pic of the tire they provide in the link, i dont like em' but it's all up to your preference. if you like em...then hey...they're good!

everyone has their own taste on how a car rides, handles, etc.

The ratings are good, especially the tire wear rating.

Re: Nokian tires?

Asking the question whether they are good after purchase is really a moot issue. From the looks of them they don't look bad to me but I don't have any experience with them to make a fair comment about the performance or longevity. Also, keep in mind they are all season which may not be a bad idea depending on what part of the country you live in and the weather conditions.

I don't like the tires, I drove about 50 miles on them today round trip. I don't think they grip the road well and when turning they feel wierd. Is there a "break in" period for new tires?
