|
How much oil do i need to put in ac system?
hi im changing the ac compressor and the accumulator on my 1994 lumina 3.1 now and before i take everything apart i want to know how much oil is needed to be added in to the compressor and the accumulator.

You should replace what is in the accumulator only, guessing at the amount could over oil the system, look at the ac label for the total content. Also spill out the compressor oil to measure, if it is a rebuilt they will tell you how much to use, no mention of the parts source here, though.
