Does your spark plug socket still have the rubber insert in it?
Are you over tightening them? About 11 ft/lbs is all they need.

switching parts, the plugs from my 99 engine are baiscally brand new (roughly 15k). yes the wire still has the metal heatsheild.

The socket i use doesn't have a rubber insert because i find them very annoying, i only hand tighten them, then 1 good snugup with the ratchet, not like the #3 plug is easy to get at anyways.

I think the problem is possibly the injector is gummed up, so im gonna try using a couple cans of fuel injector cleaner for my next couple fill ups.
