Scratched my car after getting out of hospital

Hey All,

Soooooooooo pissed off. I fell off a balcony 5 metres on Saturday morning and got taken ti Emergency in the spinal board. I spent Saturday in emergency on IVs and painkillers and got moved to recovery Saturday night. I ruptured my abdominal muscled, grazed my ribs and could have injured my gall bladder. It could have been my neck or head. I had another huge bleed on the recovery bed Saturday afternoon and lost some more blood. They discharged me Sunday afternoon with no painkillers and a medical certificate for Monday.

I went to work on Wednesday and tried to drive for the first time. Not being able to turn to the left or sit up properly with the torn ab muscles I scraped the LIVING FUCK out of my back left rear door. 2 panels, badly scraped and I've already used my "no claims bonus" retention thing once this year on hail damage. After the day at work the swelling all got twice as bad and now I'm working from home and some asshole is whingeing about a server being down for 2 f*cking hours.

The minimum SLA we sell Customers is a 4 hour turn around, AND THAT'S JUST TO RETURN THE PHONE CALL. It was FIXED in < 2 hours remotely from home.

Fuck this.

Ouch!! Sorry to hear about this. That's bad luck. People get killed falling much less. I hope you recover soon.

Yeah, often asshole customers do not have things in perspective!

Maybe get someone to hit you in the same part of the car and get insurance to fix everything???

Dizamn, Out of curiosity, what were you doin that you fell off the balcony?

Glad to hear you're ok though. Too bad your car got caught in the injury crossfire. When it rains, it pours.

Yeah, customers can be like that. They expect you to wave your magic wand and make it all better instantly. It doesn't help anything when you are already feeling like crap either.

That sucks so bad. I've never been hurt like that before, but I've seen plenty. Good luck with the car.
