Dodge 96 G. Caravan 3.3 -break Oil Leak
GOOD DAY ,
THE VAN HAS BEEN LOOSING A LOT OF BREAK OIL , I HAVE TO FILE THE RESERVOIR NEARLY EVERY WEEK , YET I CAN’T FIND THE LEAK SOURCE. CHECKED ALL THE LINES , HOSES , CALIPERS YET NO VISIBLE APPEARANCE . APPRECIATE YOUR HELP . |

Check around the master clyinder by booster and also under dash where clyinder rod and rubber boot comes thru firewall to pedal.
My bet is that the brake cylinders in one of the rear brake drums has a slow leak that will get worse. If you do not see any brake fluid on the wheels you will need to remove brake drums. IF you do need to do the rear brake shoes do yourself a favor and get the hardware kit right away to eliminate another trip to store, just my experience. Good Luck Keep us posted |
