Oil Leak

I have a 1998 sohc, I noticed a pool of oil on the garage floor. The leak is coming from the passenger side toward he back of the engine. There is some residue around the filter bu the filter is tight.

I'm thinking it may be the main seal on the crank but there is a lot of oil coming out.

Any ideas welcome.

Re: Oil Leak

Could be your oil sending unit leaking. It sits above the filter.

Its the single Cam. I suspect its the oilsending unit given the amount of oil around the filter area.

I will check the cam seal also.

Thanks
