97 Lumina A/C

I have a 97 Lumina with 3.1 engine. I need some help to add freon. I purchased a can of EZ chill from Walmart and would like to know where to hook up to charge the A/C.
Thanks for the help.

Smile Re: 97 Lumina A/C

With modern A/Cs it is hard to know how much to add without the proper gauges. They don't have sight glasess anymore like in the old days. Over filling a unit will can cause damage to the unit. You can't just add some freon and hope it works. I suggest you take it to a qualified mechanic. In the long run it will be cheaper.

Re: 97 Lumina A/C

Since nobody responded to my post, I took my car to a auto shop to get the A/C charged. It cost $68.00 to chage it. Thanks very much for the advice.
