crap-load of old cars, engines and parts

There is an old junk yard here in town and the owner passed away a few months ago (lord rest his sole). His son took over the property and has plans to clean up the place.
I walked through the front half today just scoping out what was there. I found a grill for my 66 Biscayne (from a 66 4-door) and saw some Ford engines lined up in a row. There was an old shell of a Dodge Charger and a shell of a 1st. gen. Firebird (possibly w/a Pontiac 400). I thought I saw an old Rambler car/pick-up (like an El Camino). Other big trucks and an old school bus. There might be some old big-block truck engines. That's the place where I got my old Hemi from.
I plan to go back and see what is in the back of the lot.

If anyone has a shopping list, e-mail it to me.
A lot of scrap has been hauled off and a few cars have already been sold, so stuff will be removed asap (can't waste any time).
I can crate stuff up if shipping is arranged.
Thanks,

Everything I got is gone, and everything he had left was crushed. the only car left that I need to get is a Javelin.
Thanks.
Good luck on your project.

I got the Javelin and a ricer Civic. The Charger was toast and the only thing left is trash. All the good stuff went first.
If I found a Charger for a beater, I'd build a Dukes clone.
Sorry for the bad news. I even missed out on some good deals.

Re: crap-load of old cars, engines and parts

The Civic is an 89 hatch back. I stripped out all of the running gear (1.6/5 spd) and front brake hardware. I now have an LS-1 bolted in. When I fab up the rear drive, I'll have all the stock rear suspension/brakes, wheels/tires removed as well. I did save the interrior after it was all gutted.

Let me know if there's something that you need.

Having a '77 Civic, now that would be cool.

Hey, this thread is almost 4 years old. All those cars followed their owner into the Great Beyond years ago.

Please pay attention to dates and do not open ancient threads. Other members find this annoying.
