Flush the rodeo trans

Do you need to put it on "D" to flush the torque converter on a rodeo or "P" is just fine?

if you don't shift from "P" to "1" during flush, would the new oil go to every places anyway?

I heard that if it's electronic controlled then you need to put it on "D" for the torque converter to turn.

And, the TC has a drain outlet to cool the oil or the oil returns to the transmission and then get cool?

Just double check.

Re: Flush the rodeo trans

The torque converter is always turning as long as the engine is running.

Besides, I wouldn't recommend flushing your trans anyway. I've heard of too many people having even more trouble after a flush.

Re: Flush the rodeo trans

what I like to know is how much left in the Valve Body if I don't shift during flush?

How much would be considered "over fill" a trans? 1 qt? .5 qt?
