2000 Impala, ABS and Trac question.

I just got the front wheel bearings replaced on my 2000 Impala, and when I left the shop with it, the TRAC OFF and ABS warning lights were on (and still are). I'm wondering what could be the cause of this and of course what the solutions may be. If it's a matter of reaching underneath and plugging something in, I'd rather do it myself then deal with the shop again.

Were the lights on before you had that replaced?,If so when the wheel bearings where replaced they did not reset your computer, dissconnect your neg battery terminal for 30 secs and then reconnect it,this should clear your codes,

Jack up your car, remove tire, turn steering wheel all the way to the left or right depending which tire you removed, you should be able to see a wiring harness going to the hub. Make sure the connector is snug. If it is, disconnect and spray with some dielectric grease and reconnect. Do this for both hubs. If your ABS light is still on your wiring harness could be bad (there's actually a TSB on this) and you will have to have a new one spliced in OR the sensor in one or both hubs could be defective. Try the easy stuff first.
