Bolts for caliper bracket
Replacing rotors on a 97 sentra today I twisted off the lower bolt on the caliper bracket on the drivers side.
Does anyone know what size it is and where to get one? Thanks |

Re: Bolts for caliper bracket
oops. did you get the end of the bolt out?
you should be able to get them from the dealership. it shouldnt be more than a dollar or two for each one, but i cant say for sure because dealers normally are pretty reasonable for stupid parts like a bolt, but once in a while it will be overpriced. if the dealer isnt an option, junkyards should have a million sentras so that could work, but i would hesitate to buy a hardware store bolt, at least until all other options are exhausted. but make sure its grade 8(or since it its metric, grade 10.2 or whatever their top one is).

Re: Bolts for caliper bracket
Same thing happened to me on my '91 Sentra SE-R. I just took the bracket to my local auto parts store and they got the piece out of the bracket. They were able to order the bolts for it as well. The 2 bolts should be different sizes. They only cost a few bucks. Make sure you use a little brake grease on them, too. I forgot to and now there is a squeak. It's not too bad, though.
