Ducati 888 Superbike racer

Hi everyone, i've been here for a while but never posted any of my newbie work
So this is my first! a Ducati 888...well I still need to paint the body, I think i wasted this nice model kit in my newbie stage..oh well at least i made it for fun and learning...what do you think?

i think you did a good job on this so far i have been modoling for over 20 years now and i have picked up so much info on tips an stuff of this site and others you will be suprised on you next kit they just keep getting better and better each build how are you going to paint the cowlings airbrush or hand painted

Nice job so far.I like how you have used many different shades for all the metal parts on the engine etc,brings the model to life in my opinion.Keep it going.I look forward to seeing the bodywork painted!!

Jezz: thanks for the comment! and about the cowlings it will be painted with some household spray cans....Panama doesnt has any LHS and I dont have paypal...everything painted there is hand painted

Looks good, maybe a bit too weathered for my taste, but it certainly looks like a well used machine, I would never let my real bike get this dirty!!!
very interesting though, look forward too future threads, one question, what mek of paints do you use?

Hi! thanks for commenting, yea the weathering is a bit excessive, i just learned that there is a line with the limits in weathering after doing that and about the paint....before you look have in mind that im not in a place with LHS's so...say hi to my paints...

They give me some good results as long as I thin them properly...
