Lexus LS400

This is an Aoshima kit that I always wanted to build but couldn't figure on a color. I saw a Black/Gray car one day and knew that was the color. Hope everything goes well with my first to build Aoshima kit.

Too many projects to mention.

Re: Lexus LS400

Here are more interior pics. Car interior color is gunmetal but look a little bluish in these photos. Next to last photo is the real look.
Interior isn't perfect, I need to do a little extra to it because it was rushed. Also I don't like upper back of head rest showing mold lines.
Why didn't I fill them I don't know.

Re: Lexus LS400

Just fixed that quarter rear section. Now on to the real stuff. I spent so much time trying to fix this and match paint shine so that it won't look like there is a line where the repair was done. I painted and let it dry; than re-panted; than clear coated it a few times. Then I rubbed it every few days and hoped it didn't show as if it had any repair done. Now, I can get on with the crome detail.

Yeah, Thanks. I get the idea that I might just really like this model when I'm done with the BMF and the crome emblems. I just wish I had the original Lexus wheels for it. The wheel that came in the kit looks to be aftermarket. I will figure something out.
