envoy gas mileage is...... crap!

My 05 Envoy is in the shop getting a new tranny, loan car (Buick Lacern) in comparison does not use any fuel! Went the whole week on 1 tank. Got 23 mpg, Envoy gets about 14mpg! What a diff in the wallet! 10 years of my owning suv's may be over soon!

Fuel economy complaints is the #1 reason the GMT360 is going away IMO. They are not any worse than any other same class vehicle, it's just the vast majority wants more MPG's. The fuel economy figures printed on the window sticker will be an embarrassment for GM once they start calculating them real-world. Waaay less than 15/21 or whatever they are today. I like the looks of the Buick Lucern. Nice loaner!

I get about 18 mpg in my '03 Envoy. Yeah, it stinks. I love everything else about the vehicle, though.

I"ve had my '04 for a year now and my mileage has gone from 21 down to 18. they must have changed the gas. I've got the 5.3, 4x4, SLT, XUV
