i hate electrical

hey all

i have a 94 astro , the gauge fuse blows and when that happen my van is the running off my battery, then it drains my battery. as soon as i put a fuse in and turn tha van on seconds later it pops, any and all help is appreciated

Places to look for problems--

#1 the ashtray lamp is on that circuit- look for loose change or a short in there

#2 DRL module (Canada that yr)

#3 EGR valve

#4 heated oxygen sensor

#5 Alarm module

#6 Generator - look for a short to thee pink/black wire at the generator
