1994 MGB how to adjust idle

I'm not much of a mechanic so correct me if i'm completely wrong. But I just got a 1994 MGM and its stalling while in drive when i come to a complete stop. I'm sure it just needs a tune-up but moneys tight. Is there a way to adjust the idle slightly to prevent it from stalling.
And..where the heck would I find the idle. Any web sites that can show an engine diagram?
any help is appreciated.
thanks in advance.

Re: 1994 MGB how to adjust idle

There is really no way to adjust the idle. It is controlled by the PCM (computer). You can adjust a screw, but the PCM will alter the idle to be the same as it was before. You have an idle speed control motor that stabilizes the idle on your vehicle. It is hard to get to and kinda hard to replace. If you feel down behind the motor by the drivers side valve cover, you will feel a hose going to a metal piece. The metal piece it hooks to is the idle speed control. It is held in place with 2 8mm headed bolts and has a wiring connector going to it. Here is a generic picture for you. Good luck.
