2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Driver Door Hinge
Hey does any one have an idea how much it would to be to repair the driver door hinge?

I have done this twice on my 1996. Remove electrical to door (unplug harness). Remove door by unbolting from fender. Door can be managed by one person, but it is a lot easier with two.Hinge pins are welded to hinges. I used a pneumatic die grinder with a carbide burr to remove weld. Once weld is removed, pins can be knocked out and bushings replaced. Installation is reverse of above. New hinge pins must be welded back in place, just needs a good tack weld. Be sure to paint welded area and lubricate bushings/hinge with lithium grease.
