My wifes '99 Outback Anniversary Edition (15" wheels, f/r discs) is in need of new pads. I've done pad replacements on many vehicles, so I generally know how to do them. But...I hate surprises. Is there anything special about replacing pads on this car I should know before I get started?
Thanks! |

Re: '99 Outback brake job...anything special?
I did the brakes over the weekend, and it turns out to be quite easy. Nothing special to do...
Interestingly, the front brakes are a LOT larger than the rear. I know it's typical for front brakes to be larger since they do most of the stopping, but on this car the fronts are about twice the size of the rears. |
