Re: removing dash on 98 century for blower motor
I had to do the same thing on my 98 century last winter. You really only need a ratchet and a couple sockets to what I can remember. You don't take apart the dash at all though, the blower motor is located where the front passenger would put their feet, right under the glove box really. You have to remove the carpeting and then you should be able to see the base of the motor easily, I believe there are about 4 small bolts you need to remove, unplug the motor and slide the entire assembly out and slide in the new one, bolt it in, plug it in and replace the carpeting. its kind of an awkward procedure because you need to lay across the floor or the seats and put only your head where the passenger feet would go and you need to fit your arms in there and be able to manuver around too. of course this thread is about 2 months old so you probably have already got this done one way or another, sorry I couldn't come along sooner
