66 chevelle 230cid wont start
i start it maybe 15 min a year for the last 20 yrs. every year it gets harder and harder. Now i believe there is so little compression it cant. I believe the rings are either rusted or corroded in place. So im considering an old timers solution - spraying cutting oil in the cyliders to free up the rings and scuff up the walls. My dad did this years ago and he drove cars with running boards. A note when testing spark to a plug i had it close to the oil fill on the valve cover and there was so much blowby it ignited. I just need to move this thing around the property - im preping the body for sale. I have no problem removing heads/pistons but id rather not.

Bad rings will not seal by any method other than a replacement, do a compression test and what you have for a proper diagnosis.
