Fuel line repair
Hi,
I have a 89 Civic and the section of steel fuel supply line that runs outside of the car near the tank is very rusty and has developed a leak. I was wondering how best to repair this line short of replacing the whole line running to the front of the car? Thanks for any information/suggestions. Cheers, John PS I wanted to add that I want to replace the rusty section up to and including the fitting that connects to the rubber line connected to the tank. Thanks again. Re: Fuel line repair
hmmm id just install new fuel lines and get it out of the way cuz if one section is goin bad might as well take a day or so to do it right..you could just buy another section and rig it but i dont think youd want to risk a bad fuel leak leading to BOOOOOM!!!!

Re: Fuel line repair
Chances are if there is one section that has gone bad the rest will soon follow, save yourself the time and hassles and do it all at once.
