99 GMC Suburban - faulty double harness on the + side???

Our suburban has had power problems in the past. It starts, but then dies at random, inopportune times losing all power. It then will not start again usually, but has at times been able to be started again. We've taken it to be repaired and are always told it was "a loose battery cable" or "a bad spacer" etc, but "it's fixed now." Someone mentioned that this year and model has a faulty "double harness on the + side" of the battery. Does nayone have ANY insight into this?

The double post cable will get loose and build up some corrosion. The corrosion will eat into the cables and even if you get the connector clean, the cables will have excessive resistance.
I replace the cables, spacer and bolt and use a good battery sealer to prevent further problems.
Also it is important to properly torque the battery bolt to the proper specification, overtightening the bolt can deform the lead battery post and cause the cable to loosen.
