Fujimi Ferrari 550 Maranello - TDF Blue

I usually don't post WIP pics, but here's a couple of my nearly finished (still have some touchups and detail painting the buttons) Ferrari 550 Maranello interior. I want to thank Hiro (hirofkd) for the resin seats and door panels. His work is truly great. I just couldn't have built a model with the wrong interior! I've piped the seats in MFH piping, which seems a touch big, but its so much easier to work with than, say, Detailmaster wiring.

The piping will coordinate with the exterior of the car, which will be painted with Cobra Colors TDF Blue Metallic. I wanted to paint the carpets blue, but I can never mix the right blue.

That's a very clean interior. Is the piping on the seats stretched sprue?

No, its Model Factory Hiro Piping Cord (.4 mm diameter). They do make smaller .28 mm cord, which I realized after I had piped the seats.
