Did the P171/174 fix now rough idle

Folks,

Did the P171/174 fix as described by PCitizen. Everything went well in terms of the fix. However, upon starting the car, it immediately had a rough idle. It gets worse when I put it in drive, but I can drive the car around but need to put the car in neutral at stop lights.

Did I miss something in my reassembly?

Please note that my car did not have a rough idle before and it was only showing the codes with no obvious signs of distress in power or in idle.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm glad no one replied. I ended up redoing the repair only to find near the last steps that I had failed to attach a vacuum line. From a distance, it looks like it is attached but in actuality it was right beside the plug.

After discovering this oversight, I plugged it in, reassembled everything and she's running like a baby again.

Thanks PCitizen for your helpful website. Without it, I would have really struggled.

Don't feel bad. I missed one hose myself after the repair.
