2.4 Short Ram Air Intake
I have a 2000 grand am with the 2.4 engine in it. Im thinking about putting a different air intake in it like a Short Ram or Cold Air Intake. Will this make any noticable difference or not?? Also what other things can I do to it so it has alittle more performance?? Thanks alot

Re: 2.4 Short Ram Air Intake
Go with a cold air intake for a grand am... there will be a little bit of a difference, it will have a little better pull during acceleration. doctorspeed.com is a good place to look for grand am parts. Ebay also has some nice intakes, chromeintakes is who i bought mine from off ebay, it was a nice intake, but get an AEM filter for it, the filters are crappy, and aem has a nice filter you will never have to oil. It wil also make your engine sound badass! Plugs and wires would be another nice place to start, and a nice exhaust is another goody to add for power and sound...

Re: 2.4 Short Ram Air Intake
dont expect to see an intake at your door anytime soon for dr.speed intakes... mine took 2 months, then the owner moved to the pontiac G6 as for performance mods, he hasnt been online in a couple of months
the chromeintakes seller would be your best bet... I think its only $80 or something for the intake.. very worth it for a cold air vs a ram air of which could be more around the same price
