I have a 1968 Chevy caprice 396 that I purchased about 6 mos. ago. Already I have changed over to 8mm wires, MSD distributor/plugs, and a flowmaster duals, oh yeah some 22" rims
. I was wondering how much of an impact changing the intake will have. I really want to get her stronger. What are some other engine bolt on mods that will increase power? I know alot of people seem to be askin this but my car is alot older than most, do the same principles apply? Great site!!!Thanks in advance, Fatboy ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: gettin my 68 caprice together..
Any engine is like a big air pump. The easier the air can flow, the more power you'll get out of it. So yes, basically it's all the same concept whether it's a little four banger, or a monster twelve cylinder engine in a nutshell, they all need to breathe.
