Where's the horn?

I want to put a set of louder horns in my 03 Astro cargo van but can't see where the horn is located? I'm alone so I can't stick my head under the hood while some activates the horn.
Thanks.

Re: Where's the horn?

Cargo Vans only have one horn- behind grill- you must remove the grill to access--- Funny thing- you can always recognize an "upfitted" van-- one that has been converted- because they buy "cargo" vans and cut out the metal for windows etc-- install all the interior etc-- but they usually don't add the secondary horn-- so you have this really fancy van- with a real tweepy horn--- what you may want to do is just add the secondary lower tone horn- I believe the wiring is there- the horn is not.-- if the wiring is not present- then just splice the hot wire from your horn over to the secondary horn-- You can get one at a salvage yard for $5. and mount it exactly where it goes- the primary is on driver's side of radiator - and secondary is on passenger side (or vice-versa)-- now your van will sound like a normal passenger van. See GM figures to save money by not offering 2 -tone horns on cargo vans- the people who work for companies that drive cargo vans need only to hear a horn- the tone is no big deal because this is not an individual customer-- the vans that are owned by individuals get the nice sounding horns- which cost more- so make yours sound like a passenger van...
