Question 1995 honda civic ex suspension problems!!!

my civic is running on 17in wheels & it rides ruff. Every problem on the road is felt to the max. If i dont see a pot hole in time its like i drove into the hole and back out it hits so hard. Ive been replacing my front end with new control arms and ball joints, but now i hear this wrenching squeeky sound on the front drivers side. I have two questions
1. what could it be
2. what is a good suspension for my 17in wheels without lowering(sits low as it is) thank you

does it make the noise when you turn, when you stop, could be the brakes, or even the hub bearings don't know. performance springs or even performance suspension for that matter will only lower you're car, i think. you might want to look at custom springs that will raise the ride height.
