i did the whole swap my self i have a d15 b7 block with a d16 z6 head and distributor,intake,ecu,timing belt,etc...got it all together,got spark and everything.it will turn over but does not crank or even atempt to.please some one help me tell me whats wrong swap has been done for months but wont run

Check your ground, 1 bad one or forgotten one could cause it to not start. Do you hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn the key?

if youre getting spark, its either fuel or air.... and its hard not to get air.. so i say its not getting fuel

thanks for your suggestions. they were all helpful,i found out it was a bad head but i put another on and it fired right up.and in my other civic im doing a b swap in.i have the motor in and everything hooked up its an sir 2 jdm motor so the wiring is on the wrong side,anyone with suggestion on how to fix that problem of wires not reaching their destination?
