Not a Ferrari, just a Ferrari sponsor. Ferrari corporate has been flying Piaggio Avantis for a few years now, and last year Piaggio Aero decided to sponsor Ferrari's F1 team. Kimi and Filipe both wore Piaggio Aero logos on their coveralls for the season- and may or may not again this year.

Nope, a pair of Pratt & Whitney turboshafts. But it does cruise at 348 KIAS, which is pretty quick for a turboprop. It's about 200 mph, so it is about twice the speed of an F1 car on the fastest portion of Monza. Cool airplane, but very strange sounding.

Wikipedia lists the cruising speed of the Piaggio Avanti as 644 km/h, or about 400 mph.

According to the F1 Database, http://www.f1db.com/f1/page/Autodrom...e_di_Monzacars, "Varzi in an Alfa Romeo and Alfieri Maserati in Maserati touched 200 kilometres per hour (124 mph) for the first time in their fastest laps. " That was in 1929, on the high speed oval, which is no longer in use, but still...

In the 2007 Italian GP at Monza, the BMW Sauber ran the traps at 349.6 km/h, or 217 mph.
