looking at getting an evo

I'm not sure how they catergorize the Evo's not really famaliar. But they do have a great name and are known for being great performance cars. I have also been looking at getting an MR2. Anyone know sumwut of a comparison between the 2 cars? Also since im from Canada the newest Evo/MR2 i can buy is the 93. can u get newer models of these 2 cars in the states? Or are there ways to get newer models?(in canada there is a 15 year rule pretty much before we can ship their cars over here) any advice or info would be awesome
